By downloading or using WhatToLayer (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
WhatToLayer suggests what to wear outside based on weather forecasts and the activity you choose. It combines public weather data with a comfort model (wind chill, humidity, your pace and personal tolerance) to produce plain-language guidance.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the forecasts, recommendations, or any output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WhatToLayer and its creators are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of (or reliance on) the App or its recommendations, including decisions about what to wear or whether to go outside. You use the App at your own risk.
Weather forecasts are provided by Open-Meteo. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data, and your use of that data is also subject to the provider's terms.
WhatToLayer is currently free to download and use. If paid features are introduced in the future, their terms and pricing will be presented before you purchase.
The App, its name, design, and content are owned by us and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
